I am an Aunt again!

I am so happy to announce the birth of my niece, Blair.  She was born on December 30, 2008! She is the third child to my sister Angie and husband Jason.  Her brother Blake and sister Brooke were really excited to meet her.

Our other sister, Katy, and I were in the delivery room with her when Blair arrived.  It was the most amazing thing I have ever been a part of.  That day will be forever in my memory.

Blair, Angie and Jason just minutes after she was born.  I don't think any new mother looks as beautiful as Angie did that day.

Christmas 2008

Another Christmas another year.  With all of the downs in the world, I have a family I am eternally at peace with.  

It didn't take long for Carter to understand the concept of opening presents.  It was very cute.  As he walked out of his bedroom still sleepy, he saw his new horse.  With out a word, he walked over to it and prompted us to put him on it.  He just explored it and as he woke realized how cool it was.  Thanks Nana and Papa!

Christmas 2008

We traveled to Kansas City to be with family.  My sister Angie was days away from giving birth to her third baby.  My sister Katy and her family, my Dad and his wife and my Mom all spent Christmas afternoon and evening together.   This family photo was taken just before we were leaving to come home.  My Mom had already left.....I am so sorry she is not in this photo.
