Carter saying, "Cheese!" He had to have his horse and his "mae"(The little security blankie) while riding his horse.
Caelyn, Carter and Blake blowing out Brian's Birthday cake candles. The second he gave the go ahead, they lunged in. This so funny since you only see Brian's head.
We took Carter to The Butterfly House in Chesterfield, MO. We had never been to anything like that before. Hundreds of live butterflys all around you. It was so awesome. Carter was so into it!
This is our first hockey game. We met our friends from Ohio to see Grant play hockey. They had several games in Chesterfield. Carter was intrigued. It was so fun.
Ok, so February is almost over, but what the heck. Happy New Year!
I have not been blogging because I lost my cable and could not get any pictures up. Well, I was putting Carter's portable DVD player back in the box and there it was! What a relief.
Since I last posted, my niece, Brooke turned one. Her sister, Blair, is two months old. Their big brother, Blake, is ice skating. Carter is singing his ABC's. And my other niece, Caelyn, has started wearing undies during the day. Oh, and two more cousins have been born. Both boys! Whew Thanksgiving this year is going to be filled with baby fun! I think there should be around 12 children ranging from age 10 - 9 mos. About half of those children will be under the age of 5. I can't wait!
Carter has a mouth full of teeth. We are working on actually brushing back and forth with the tooth brush instead of just sucking the paste off and chewing on the bristles. He is so funny when he imitates me spitting in the sink.
He still has his moments of grunting when he wants something, but generally, he speaks in sentances now. "Mama, I see a cow." "Mama, where is my Thomas (train)." "Where Daddy go?" "I like strawberries." "I see fish fwimming in da water!"
My VERY favorite sentance EVER is of course, "I love mama."
His tone changes and he snuggles close to my face. AHHHHHHH!!! It is the sweetest thing.
